Season Of Change

“... it’s just a succession of changes, so soft and comfortable that we hardly notice the progress.” - Charles Dickens

I'm enjoying the slow seasonal changes that are happening in the northeast this year. Usually the fall seems to pass so quickly.

As nature makes it's progression from summer into fall, I'm making some "soft and comfortable" changes in my art also... both in my color palette and my techniques. My studio is getting a little rearranging also.

I hope you are enjoying your current season, wherever you are!

Summer breeze makes me feel fine

“See the curtains hangin' in the window, in the evenin' on a Friday night
A little light a-shinin' through the window, lets me know everything is alright.

Summer breeze, makes me feel fine, blowing through the jasmine in my mind.”

Windows are open and the summer breeze wafting in feels so good! I don’t think I’ve ever realized how wonderful this time of year is. We are having cool mornings and evenings and gardens are full of color.

I think summer maybe showing off a little bit knowing fall, with it’s fabulous color, is right around the corner.

I hope you are enjoying the season where you live. Every season has it’s gifts, but I have to admit… I’m looking forward to fall!

Small Town Luxuries

Each Friday, May to November local farmers, growers and artisans bring their goods into the center of our town to sell.

Here’s a little description from the FB page: "The Kennett Square Farmers Market has been helping to nurture the connection between farms, farmers and the local consumer by offering healthy & heirloom veggies, juicy fruit, local cheeses and yogurts, grass fed meats, all natural poultry, treats for the pets, beautiful cut flowers and plants, honey, eggs, fresh herbs - you name it!"

We are so fortunate to have this available. So if you are in the area…Friday from 3–7pm, May to November!
